Back Home Again

After leaving about 9:00 PM on Wednesday, May 9, 2018, we arrived home again around 8:00 AM on Sunday May 13, 2018. The trip was a very good trip and everyone had a blast. We had the bus ride, where all the kids were very well behaved, some of the archers shot in the Centershoot, 3D Shoot and the regular flight as well. Then we also attended a Minor League Baseball Game, Go-Karts, Arcade, Laser Tag and even stopped by Bass Pro Shop before heading home again.

The following are the archers statistics for Nationals (only the bullseye, not the 3D stats), and we would like to say congratulations to all of the archers who qualified and great job. Elementary consists of the 4th & 5th graders.

These archers are very young, and now that they have had a taste of going to Nationals, I expect them to come back next year fighting for more, and the higher grades have something to shoot for as well.

This was the end of our archery season this year, we will update this site with any updates we may have during the off season, and then of course we will keep it much more updated once archery starts again as well. Have a safe summer!

National Shoot

The archers all shot in the centershot on Friday afternoon, then their main tournaments yesterday. They all did well, couple beat their high score while others were very close to the high scores for them. They all had fun and were not too nervous, the coaches might have been more nervous for them.

After the tournament, most of us went to a baseball game. It was a first for many of us. At the start of the game about 7 at night, it was about 85 degrees and sunny still.  It was a fun time. The sun went down during the game and then they had their Friday night fireworks. Then it was back to the hotel.

Today we are heading to Kart Country for some go cart racing, followed by stopping at bas pro shop.

Great job to all the archers on their shooting.

And we are off

Earlier today we had a pepfest put on for our archers. It was really neat and thank you to Mesabi East for doing that.

We have loaded the buses and are now on our way to Kentucky. Left about 9:15 pm. Gonna be a long, but fun trip. Will try to post pictures and blogs during the trip as well.
